Beginner Indonesian - CEFR A1
Beginner Indonesian or CEFR A1 is best for you who just start to learn Indonesian. This course will give you a strong foundation on the basic structure of the language and colloquial Indonesian to communicate with local people right away. All the contents of this course are taken from daily conversations and personal stories of native Indonesian speakers.
Level Description
This level is based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages or CEFR for short. At the end of this course, you should be able:
- Understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at satisfying concrete needs.
- Introduce themselves and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details, such as where they live, people they know, and things they have.
- Interact in a simple way, provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.
Beginner Indonesian's Prerequisite
No prerequisite for this course.
Duration
It takes approximately 30–60 hours to complete this course. The package starts at 30 hours, as this is the average time students take to complete the course with self-study outside of classes. Group and online classes might take longer because you are not exposed to the language as intensively. You can always extend your study if you need additional time to catch up.
