Advanced Indonesian - CEFR C1
In the Advanced Indonesian Course or C1 based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), you will learn Indonesian using unmodified authentic materials. Some learning resources include clips from movies, news, podcasts, and radios. You will be reminded of language structures that you learn in the previous courses based on the learning contexts.
Level Description
At the end of this course, you should be able to:
- understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts, and recognize implicit meaning.
- express him/herself fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for expressions.
- use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes.
- produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, showing controlled use of organizational patterns, connectors and cohesive devices.”
Prerequisite for Advanced Indonesian
To take this course, you have to complete our Upper Intermediate Indonesian Course.
Duration
It takes approximately 30–60 hours to complete this level. Group or distance learning classes might take longer, as you are not exposed to the language as much compared to in-person private classes. You can start with an hourly package of 30 hours and extend it as needed.
