Chocolate Farm Tour & Making
Desa Coklat Bali is a real working cacao farm and chocolate factory in Tabanan — not a tasting room or a display of plants. Walk the plantation, see cocoa fermentation and factory production, then make your own chocolate bar to take home. Raw chocolate ice cream included.
Indonesian Cooking Class
Cook a traditional Indonesian dish from scratch using fresh local ingredients. Follow the recipe in Indonesian, pick up kitchen vocabulary as you go, and sit down to eat what you make. No travel needed — held right at Jembatan Bahasa.
Batik Painting
Create your own batik design using a canting and hot wax — the same technique used across Indonesia for centuries. Every step is guided in Indonesian and English depending on your language level. Take your finished batik bag home at the end.
Balinese Offering Making
Learn to make canang sari and gebogan — the daily flower offerings that are central to Balinese spiritual life. Guided in Indonesian throughout: the meaning of each colour, the directions they represent, and the tradition behind the practice. All materials provided.
Rindik — Balinese Bamboo Music
Play the rindik — a traditional Balinese bamboo xylophone — guided by a local musician. No music experience needed. A memorable way to connect with Balinese culture and practise English at the same time.
