Beginner Group Classes

A group class is a great way to meet new people and learn from one another. You will study for an hour twice a week, in addition to spending approximately the same amount of time on self-study. After the group class, you can choose to continue with your current group if they agree to do so, opt for private classes, or engage in self-study to continue improving your Indonesian language skills.

Indonesian group classes for beginners at Jembatan Bahasa start at the first week of every month and last for eight sessions during the same month.

General Information:

How long: one-hour 12 sessions

How many times: Three times a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 4-5PM

How much: IDR1,500,000, including:

• 12 contact hours with professional Indonesian teachers
• handouts and worksheets
• digital flashcards with audio and sentence examples
• free access to our listening lessons

Where: at Jembatan Bahasa, Jalan Subak Daksina Gg. Ayu no. 4, Tibubeneng.

What will you learn:

You will learn colloquial/everyday Indonesian with various topics, such as:

• Basic structures and Indonesian pronunciation
• Greetings and introduction
• Numbers and shopping
• Ordering food in a warung/restaurant
• Essential everyday phrases

We also cover culture understanding and practical grammar points embedded in the topics above.

How to enroll:

Before enrolling, please our terms and conditions below for our Beginner Group Class:

1. This group expires at the end of every month, except for emergency instances
2. A lesson can be rescheduled only if requested at least 24 hours in advance and if the teacher and classmates are available at the proposed rescheduled time. If availability cannot be confirmed, the lesson will be conducted as originally scheduled.
3. If you miss a lesson, you still have access to the learning resources for self-study to catch up.
