Upper Intermediate Indonesian - CEFR B2

In Upper Intermediate Indonesian Course, you will continue exploring formal and informal Indonesian through more complexed texts, videos, and podcasts. Some topics that we will cover include Indonesian movies, media, life styles, news, and Indonesian politics. 

Level Description

For our Indonesian proficiency leveling, we use Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) as our guideline. At the end of this course, you should be able to:

  • understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of specialization.
  • interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party.
  • produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.

Prerequisite

Before taking this course, you need to complete our Intermediate course or have sufficient score on the this placement test.

Duration

It takes approximately 30–60 hours to complete this level. Group or distance learning classes might take longer, as you are not exposed to the language as much compared to in-person private classes. You can start with an hourly package of 30 hours and extend it as needed.
