This Upper Intermediate Indonesian Course is a continuation of Menengah 1 course. In this course, you will continue exploring formal and informal Indonesian through more complexed texts, videos, and podcasts. Some topics that we will cover include Indonesian movies, media, life styles, news, and Indonesian politics.
Level Description
For our Indonesian proficiency leveling, we use Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) as our guideline. Here is the level description for Upper Intermediate Bahasa Indonesia Course (Menengah 2) or B2.
‘Can understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of specialization. Can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party. Can produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.’

It takes approximately 30-50 hours to complete this course. Group classes might take longer than this. The package will start at 30 hours and you can take more hours if you wish.
